Short Reels is a revolutionary product that bridges the current gap between adventure/action productions and actors wanting to demonstrate their talents in new genres. Our services will help you stand out from the crowd, while our competitors continue to make traditional drama scene reels.

As Indigenous and Asian filmmakers, we are aware of the difficulty for emerging actors of colour to make and finance the reels that could get them accepted in talent agencies. Our vision is to make cinematic alternative genre content available to all people. There is an undeserved preference for certain types of actors in the entertainment industry. Our mission is to demonstrate the talent of all people and prove that actors of culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds can and should be in more lead roles. We hope to create a platform to end negative typecasting and give everyone the recognition they deserve.
